Blossom workshop

This two-part series is for moms and daughters ages 10-12 who are about to start or have newly started the reproductive years.
This workshop is meant to be informative, encouraging, empowering, and supportive of young women and the mother-daughter relationship.
Many of us grew up in a time where mothers didn't explain much about our bodies and our fertility (often because no one explained it to them!) and we got a lot of confusing messages! Now we want to make the way easier for our own daughters, in a way that celebrates their feminine beauty and strength!

*Conversation starter tips/what daughters want to know
"What I wish someone would have told me!"
*Common medical questions around the start of the reproductive years
*Clarity and questions on the mother/daughter session

Saturday, May 18th 3-5 pm (mothers and daughters)
In this session:
*Women are beautiful! Learn about how women bring new life to the world and the basic parts of the reproductive cycle.
*Growing in Beauty ~ Learn about what to expect as your body grows from girl to woman. Lots of time for questions and answers.
*Safeguarding Beauty ~ Learn ways to keep your body, heart, and mind strong and happy and focused on your dreams!
*Mother-daughter tea and craft

The Blossom series workshop is not medical care, or an instructional how-to on this personal and special time of life. Many workshop participants will have already thought deeply about these issues and had many conversations with their daughters; others may be just beginning to think about how to have these conversations. This workshop is provided as a support to mothers and their daughters, and as a space to talk about these issues with other mothers and daughters and share each other's wisdom and experiences, with some gentle facilitation.

1-2 pm ~ Meet and greet your colleagues and friends in this amazing allied health and medical field!
2-3 pm ~ CrMS case presentations and discussion - VRPM, yellow stamps galore!, FertilityCare center set-up, and other pressing questions we can help each other answer!
3-3:30 ~ break (smoothie delivery!)
3:30 -4:30 pm ~ NaPro case presentations and discussion
4:30-5:00 (-ish Who are we kidding?) pm ~ general discussion and collegial support
