About Functional Fertility Northwest

The mission of Functional Fertility Northwest (FFNW) is:

Functional Medicine + NaPro Technology

~ for generations

to provide life-saving, life-embracing reproductive health care

to uphold the dignity of the human person,

and to honor women, by empowering them to understand and care for their bodies in a way that does not damage or destroy their natural cycle or fertility, and therefore the other interconnected systems in their bodies

Have you ever wondered why the main tools offered to women for their unique reproductive health needs are mainly aimed at disabling the reproductive system?

Have you noticed that the main treatment tools offered to women for virtually all their health needs in the reproductive years seem to be either birth control or antidepressants?

Women and families deserve better!

Functional Fertility Northwest is here to offer you reproductive health and support that works with your body, for true health and wellbeing.

Appointments are unrushed and personalized, in a calming setting, in a model of patient-provider partnership.  Initial visits are approximately 90 minutes, sometimes a bit more.  A written summary of your care plan is generally provided after each visit.

Functional Fertility Northwest is a cash pay practice and there is no insurance billing of any kind.  Time is spent with patients, not insurance companies, and practice overhead is kept as simple and streamlined as possible, to allow intensive patient-centered care.   Insurance companies do not reimburse for the time and specialty knowledge that it takes to provide this kind of care, and reimbursement is based on codes for disease, not codes for wellness, therefore they do not reimburse based on what matters most: RESULTS in health and wellbeing.  Monica has partnered with Evexia Diagnostics to make affordable, direct-pay lab pricing available to her patients via Labcorp, and does not mark up the cost of any lab test.  See also "For Patients" tab. Lab orders to be used at other labs can also be provided.

Cash, check, cards (including HSA cards) can be used for payment.  Upon request, a superbill can also be provided that you can submit to your insurance (except Medicare and Medicaid) for possible reimbursement; however there is no way to guarantee what your insurance carrier will reimburse, if anything. See individual "Services" pages for specific pricing.  All pricing and discounts are subject to change.  Monica is opted out of Medicare and Medicaid, and nothing can be submitted to Medicare or Medicaid for reimbursement for her services, including visits, prescriptions, or lab/imaging orders.

The overhead at FFNW is kept to a bare minimum.  Market forces would allow much higher pricing for this specialty care; but "mission forces" call for making this care as accessible and affordable as possible, while also still remaining sustainable. Pricing is always transparent, and discounts are applied to the degree possible...but as you may realize, there is no big industry, state or federal program, tax breaks, or non-profit donor base supporting this special care.  If you would like to learn more about how to support the patients and life-saving, life-embracing mission of Functional Fertility Northwest, please visit our Support FFNW page.
